We are very excited to announce a new update in this month of 2024.

This Workpulse Admin version will be available on the web platform from December, 2024.

We are thrilled to introduce an advanced asset management feature in the Workpulse system, providing a comprehensive solution to track and manage your valuable resources effectively.

Key Updates:

Single Permission For Every Feature

A new single permission feature has been introduced for Audit, Book, and People (Reports) within the Roles section. This single permission applies across the web, app, and dashboard, simplifying access control and ensuring consistent permissions management across all platforms.

Region Screen Updated

The Region Screen has been redesigned and renamed “Organization Hierarchy” under the Organizations module to provide a better user experience and improved functionality. A hierarchical structure is now mandatory, requiring at least one Zone, Region, Sub-Region, and associated Locations to create an organization. Locations can no longer be added directly to a region but must be assigned through sub-regions.

The landing screen allows users to view existing Zones or add new ones, with options to Edit or Delete a zone. Before deleting a zone, all regions within it must be reassigned. Within a zone, users can add, edit, or delete Regions. Each region includes Settings for desk configurations and audit validation, accessible via two tabs. Similarly, deleting a region requires reassigning its sub-regions to another region.

Sub-Regions can also be managed with options to add, edit, delete, or select locations. Users can search for locations using a hierarchical view or specific filters such as Zone, Region, Sub-Region, PC Number, Abbreviation, or Location Name. Any location moved to a sub-region will automatically be removed from its previous assignment. Locations can only be moved and not deleted.

Newly added entities (Zones, Regions, Sub-Regions) are listed at the top and sorted alphabetically after a screen reload. Bulk actions enable users to move multiple locations to another sub-region or delete Zones, Regions, or Sub-Regions, provided no child entities exist.
